TANDEM MOULD TECHNOLOGY

Stracks new Tandem Mould Technology utilises the mould cooling time to increase productivity and therefore reduce production costs by up to 40%. It does this by doubling the number of components on the mould by allowing 2x parting planes on the same mould.













The Process
Two independent parameter sets allow separate optimisation of the two parting planes during production. Consequently in both parting planes, parts with different geometry and volume in each case can be produced with optimal quality. Injection moulding machines from worldwide established manufacturers work with the T/Mould process after a simple software-update.

Locking
The core piece of the T/Mould technology is the ingeniously devised locking system CLS (Compact Locking System). The CLS locks one parting plane reliably and thus allows the alternate operation method of the Tandem Mould.
Tandem Moulds are running in moulding machines with a closing force of 35 t to
3.500 t.

Buying a CLS from STRACK the customer also gets the usage rights for the patented process in the equipped mould as well as.....
