Hales is an industry leader in the supply of standard components, covering a range of products for the plastics, diecasting and metal stamping industries.

Founded in Melbourne in 1976 to supply local toolrooms, Hales has since established four operations throughout Australia, one in the United Kingdom and one in Singapore to enable its growth into a global market with the three main industry standards- JIS, DIN and Imperial.

Hales Queensland was opened in 1993. The expansion further continued to New South Wales a year later and in 1997 Hales South Australia was added to the chain. Growth and demand led to the opening of Hales UK in 2000 and Hales Asia in 2004. Distribution of Hales' products is also conducted in Western Australia and New Zealand with technical support staff on site at each location.

Hales represents reputable manufacturer’s standard components such as Mastip, Strack Norma, Vega, Lane, Raymond, Athena and Cumsa, as well as having products manufactured to Hales specifications by leaders in the business eg. Hales mould bases, Hales diesets and Hales ejectors.
